My friend had his 40th birthday day party here. It was a great time. The event space was very spacious and affordable. They provided food and had a full service bar. Plenty of onsite parking. The staff was friendly. They helped out a lot during set up and was really accommodating. I would definitely use this venue again for a party.
Neighborhood spot. Good Drinks. They have two bars. I have hosted political functions here and birthday parties. John and his wife have refreshed the decor and it's nice. Too much Sauce - chicken and etc. Restaurant connected to them. Eat Up! Check out their calendar, they have 2 step nights, poetry slams, karaoke. Etc.
The food and entertainment the night I was there was great. The food was great and had the fish and cheese fries and my wife had the special of wings and fish. Everything was cool. Keep up the good job and hope to return soon.
Everything from the bartenders to the events that they throw here are awesome. I really love the Word Up event they have on Tuesdays. Definitely a place to go if you're in St Louis for vacation or if you live here and just need something fun to do on a Tuesday evening.
Legacy Books and Cafe is the longest standing Poetry Hub in St. Louis, MO. It's known with the Spoken Word community for Friday night Open Mic. The bar's known for it's grill's famous chicken wings and bartenders heavy hands ;) . Tell Mr. Nicks and Jay, we said, "Hello!" "Bop" StL's style stepping is preserved here and done on Wednesdays and Thursdays I believe. Tap in #letsgetit
